Continue east on Old Highway 80 about 2 miles to a large sheeted outcrop on the north side of the road.

This outcrop of the S-B facies yielded a U-Pb zircon age of 94 ± 1 Ma and a Rb-Sr mineral isochron age of 92 ± 3 Ma. The initial Sr ratio is 0.70437 ± 0.00057. This facies is granodioritic with small subhedral to euhedral biotite and large oikocrystic alkali feldspar.
