East Kennedy Cove
What a spectacular setting! It made the rather scary approach worthwhile, as we were treated to a world-class sunset shortly after our arrival. The campground is accessed through a saddle over Punta Banda, and sits on a cliff above the Pacific Ocean.
Pat Brooks had arranged to have dinner catered by Celia's Restaurant in La Bufadora. The Mexican cuisine (oddly enough) included fish filet with oyster sauce, breaded fish filet, breaded shrimp, shrimp scampi, cheese enchiladas, beans, rice, tortillas, chips, salsa, and cold drinks.
We were treated to a full moon, as we shared various fish (and arachnid) stories around the campfire... |
